This tab contains Idle speed parameters.
Minimum Idle Speed
Sets the minimum idle speed under all conditions.
Idle Speed vs Coolant Temperature
These tables allow you to specify the idle speed as a function of the water temperature. The transition between using stationary or moving table is approximately 5 mph / 8 kph.
Idle Valve
IAC duty cycle - adjusts the feedback relationship between the current engine speed, target idle speed and idle valve duty cycle. If the idle dips low once the throttle is released, increase the IAC duty cycle. If the idle speed 'hangs', reduce the IAC duty cycle.
IAC error - disable this error if you are not using the idle value (e.g. for individual throttle bodies).

Ignition controlled idle
At idle the ECU will adjust the ignition timing in order to maintain a steady idle. The ignition adjustment depends on the difference between the target idle and actual engine speed. When the engine speed is higher than the target idle, ignition timing is retarded; when lower ignition timing is advanced.
